The 'X' Zone Radio Show Affiliate, KKRP AM 1610, Rainbow 95 Receives Threat from PublishAmerica

Internationally Syndicated Radio Show, The 'X' Zone Radio & TV Show and The 'X' Chronicles Newspaper investigating allegations of highly questionable business practices results in radio show affiliate KKRP receiving threats from PublishAmerica.

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 10, 2012 - In December 2011, the Canadian based internationally syndicated The 'X' Zone Radio Show host and executive producer, Rob McConnell received several emails from guests and listeners about their dealings with PublishAmerica, which is based in Frederick, Maryland.

PublishAmerica, which has been I business since 1999, has been accused over the years of violation of international copyright, non-payment of author royalties, misrepresentation and fraud.

PublishAmerica claims that it is a publishing company, but research done by various entities reveal that PublishAmerica is a "Print On Demand" or "Vanity" Press.

Over 190 articles have been found on the internet pertaining to the questionable business practices of Publish, which can be found at www.beawareofpublishamerica.com, as well as information supplied to The 'X' Zone Radio & TV Show and The 'X' Chronicles Newspaper, who are presently doing an investigative story on PublishAmerica.

The Better Business Bureau In Greater Maryland, serving Western MD to the Eastern Shore reports that PublishAmerica is not an accredited BBB Member and has rated PublishAmerica as F, the lowest possible BBB rating for reasons including 248 Complaints closed with the BBB in the last 3 years / 75 closed in the last 12 months:

The 'X' Zone Radio & TV Show and The 'X' Chronicles Newspaper has sent requests for telephone interviews and/or company statements with reference to the allegations leveled against PublishAmerica without any response. 

On January 3 2012, The 'X' Zone Radio & TV Show started broadcasting guest interviews with people who have been victimized by their contractual connection with PublishAmerica.

Tuesday, January 9 2012, from 10 pm - 11 pm Eastern, Bob "The Pit Bull" Williams who has been working with The 'X' Zone & The 'X' Chronicles on the PublishAmerica expose, was a guest on The 'X' Zone in which recent investigative findings on PublishAmerica was discussed.

On Tuesday morning, January 10, 2012, Bob "The Pit Bull" Williams, the Morning Show host at KKRP AM 1610, Rainbow 95 in Cowlington, Oklahoma, received a threatening telephone call at KKRP from an unknown person calling from a telephone number that has been traced to PublishAmerica. 

Bob "The Pit Bull" Williams in an email sent to The 'X' Zone Radio & TV Show after the telephone call from PublishAmerica, "if I don't back off that they are going to sue for defamation of character, false statements and a whole bunch of crap....I was told to back off and that the BBB is wrong....Right after they hung up..."

In response to the telephone call from PublishAmerica, Williams wrote, "Ouch, me being sued! All I can say is 'BRING IT ON! If they want to rock, don't play stupid games....let's rock n' roll and bring everything out in a courtroom. We'll see who the bad guy is. 'The Pit Bull" has taken the first bite. Round one to the good guys."

Recently, The 'X' Zone Radio Show received an email from a former employee of PublishAmerica who wrote, "I am a former employee and I can't say much because I have already been server with a C&D order from speaking out on this forum so I thought you may like to read it as well http://absolutewrite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=115 and they are awful to work for, thankfully I am no longer working there and start a new job at the end of the month. Also everything the authors say that PA does is true and then some. I just want to help bring them down. Thanks."
