The O’Hare “Swiss Cheese” UFO Sighting

Jan 18, 2007 / Hamilton, ON, Canada - The claim of a UFO sighted over Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport has more holes in it than a piece of Swiss cheese in the fridge of Billy Meier another so-called UFO experiencer and contactee in Switzerland.
If you look at the time line of events, you will see that something does not make sense and the reason for all the hype will become very clear and evident.
According to the National UFO Reporting Center, which is owned and operated by Peter Davenport from his “silo” in Davenport, Washington, the event over O’Hare allegedly occurred on November 7, 2006 at approximately 4:30 pm local time.
The total number of UFO reports submitted to the NUFORC for November 7, 2006 were 10 world wide. All 10 were from the US:
1. Goleta, CA
2. Stratford, IA
3. Victoria, MN
4. Tucson, AZ
5. Aurora, IL
6. Chicago - O’Hare, IL
7. Chicago - O’Hare, IL
8. Martinez, CA
9. Chicago, IL
10. Hollister, CA
The first report which was submitted to Davenport, according to his website at www.nuforc.com pertaining to the O’Hare incident, was filed on November 13 2006 at 2:54 PM by an unidentified United Airlines employee, 6 days after the alleged event took place, with the duration of the event being 2 minutes. This report was posted to Davenports website on December 7, 2006, one month after the sighting happened, thtree weeks after it had been received by Davenport.
In this report which can be viewed at www.xzone-radio.com/ohare.htm, it is prefaced with the following:
“NUFORC Note: This report is a revised version of the original report submitted by this party, or parties. It was revised at NUFORC's request, in order to disguise the person submitting the report. The report accurately addresses the event, although we are satisfied that the person, or persons, who submitted the report cannot be identified from it. The above facts may be a sythesis of what dozens of individuals saw, summarized by one, or more, persons, who were witness to the activities surrounding the incident.”
The second report received by Davenport according to his website was on November 15, 2006 from someone who was very skeptical of the sighting. Why this even generated a listing by Davenport makes no sense at all. This report can be viewed at www.xzone-radio.com/ohare.htm.
The third report to Davenport was on November 21, 2006, two weeks after the alleged sighting, by yet another United Airlines employee. This report was posted to Davenport’s website on the same date as the other two O’Hare reports were posted - December 7, 2006. This report can be viewed at www.xzone-radio.com/ohare.htm.
In the first report, the United Airline employee claims the duration of his event was 2 minutes. In the second United Airlines employee report, the duration of his sighting was 20 minutes, a difference of 18 minutes.
Here are other facts which are related to the alleged sighting at O’Hare:
1. FAA reports no unknown traffic on radar;
2. The only people in who witnessed this event were the 12 United Airlines employees;
3. No one else in this very busy airport witnessed this event;
4. United Airlines claim that they have no reports on this incident;
5. No private pilots reported the sighting over O’Hare or in O’Hare airspace.
6. No photographs or amateur video have surfaced of this alleged object which remained in the skies over the 2nd busiest airport in the US for 2 - 18 minutes when people at airports always have cameras and the majority of cell phones have built in cameras;
7. No other aircraft crew or passengers aboard any other flight on the tarmac, taking off, landing or on approach to O’Hare reported seeing this object;
8. O’Hare is surrounded by busy airport access routes and no other reports were made from the ground about this object;
9. The USAF did not scramble interceptors to investigate this unknown craft, which in a post 9-11 world does not make any;
10. No reports made to Homeland Security could be found;
11. No reports to Chicago Police could be found;
12.Canadian air traffic controllers did not report any unusual traffic.
I would like to know if there are security cameras at the airport that would have the area where the sighting was supposed to have taken place to view what the employees were doing at the time of the event - to see their reactions or to see fi they just continued working as usual.
So, here is our time line thus far:
2006-11-07 Alleged UFO seen over Chicago’s O’Hare International.
2006-11-13 1st report from United Airlines employee about UFO over O’Hare.
2006-11-15 Davenport posts comment about lack of credibility of above report.
2006-11-21 2nd report from United Airline employee about UFO over O’Hare
2006-12-07 UFO report from Nov 13, 15 & 21 are posted to www.NUFORC.com.
2007-01-01 New Year’s Day: UFO story is published by Chicago Tribune .
Now, let’s factor in the following:
2007-03-13 10th anniversary of the Phoenix Lights event.
2007-07-04 60th anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident
Welcome to the “Year of UFOlogy” as 2007 is being called by the members of the international UFO community. Stanton T Friedman, the grandfather of the Roswell Incident, will be releasing a new book at this years 60th anniversary. 2007 will also see a new book about the Betty and Barney Hill abduction case that took place in 1964. The UFO community look sat the Hills as the first alien abduction case which was brought to the attention of the public.
However, UFOlogy and the research into UFO sightings and alien abductions no longer has credibility with the public due to in large the mannerism in which UFO investigations are done, by large, by untrained hobbyists, not professionals.
FACT: UFO sightings are down.
FACT: Alien Abduction cases are down.
FACT: Crop Circle reports are down.
FACT: Photographs of UFOs and other phenomena are down even though there are more cameras world wide than at any other time in history.
FACT: The internet is filled with unsubstantiated UFO / Alien claims, reports and photographs.
FACT: There is an increase in people who are concerned with the environment, The Greenhouse Effect, Global Warming, Global Peace and spirituality.
FACT: According to a recent poll at www.xzone-radio.com, when asked, “'X' Zone Nation, based on the lack of photographic evidence, radar targeting, and the fact that 12 United Airlines employees were the only people who allegedly saw a UFO hovering over O'Hare Airport in Chicago on November 7 2006, is it FACT or FICTION?”
- FICTION 53%
- FACT 37%
- UNDECIDED 10%
FACT: It took Peter Davenport 1 month to post the first report of this UFO sighting on his website.
FACT: November 7, 2006 was the date of the US mid elections.
Over the year’s I have been asked whether or not I am a believer or a skeptic?
My answer is simple. Neither.
I am a realist. I want to see documented evidence.
Then I am asked to rationalize my reply. Once again, simple.
If the President of the most powerful country in the world cannot have a Presidential “affair” between the Oval Office and the Oval John in the most secure building in the United States, and yet the world still found out, how could you possibly hide UFOs and aliens from over 60 years ago?
So that is why I say that the claim of a UFO sighted over Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport has more holes in it than a piece of Swiss cheese.
I am not a psychic, however, I predict that in the weeks or months to come, a photograph will surface and people will claim that it is the smoking gun in the O’Hare UFO case.
However, if it took more than one month for the story to break about the O’Hare Airport UFO, just how long did those claiming to have “the photographic proof” have to create it?
Isn’t digital photographic manipulation wonderful?
