The 'X' Zone 8-31-05

Tonight's first guest was Dr. T. Colin Campbell. His website is www.thechinastudy.com
For those who found his conversation stimulating, and live near the Toronto area, Dr. Campbell is going to be in Toronto on September 10th. On the website, click on the "Lectures" section for more information.

Jon Kelly was tonight's second guest. His website is www.yourinnervoice.com . Mr. Kelly played back tons of audio clips forward and backwards. Many of them were really amazing. I was particularly intrigued by his playbacks of Dennis Rader, the BTK Killer. The BTK Killer was a notable figure in my past, as I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. Some of the tapes weren't as clear to me as others, but everyone can check out his website and listen for themselves.

Bonnie Vent was the final guest. Her website is www.sdparanormal.com. Toward the end of her discussion with Rob, she told the story of "Psycho-Phones" and Jesse Shepherd. Apparently, Thomas Edison came up with the original concept, and Jesse Shepherd wrote a book about psycho-phones in 1921. Two Psycho-Phone prototypes have been invented. Some mystery remains, however, on who invented the Psycho-Phone. The reaction of the San Diego Historical Society toward her story was incredulity. Some people are just too square. I was intrigued by the concept of the Psycho-Phone and I just might e-mail Bonnie for more information.
